Loved! I didn't think I was an Italian sandwich fan until I went to New York and had one. I've been craving one ever since and was scared nothing would live up to it I got the #10 and it was good. Bread was excellent. The oil vinegar and garlic spray was delicious. Ingredients felt premium Two days later and I already am going back (if they're open for dinner ) Staff nice and helpful.

Deli & Market is very welcoming. As soon as you walk in you feel @ home. The greetings were wa & filled genuine smiles & The food was amazing. I will be back.

This was my first time here in years since I used to live in the shore. I've been here a couple times but I will definitely be coming back. This is the perfect spot for lunch with seating to look out on 2nd street, high top seating low top seating, really great set up. The food was delicious. The patrons were happy! The wine was delicious. The service was amazing. The ambience was nice. I love that they have a little store with all the Italian goodies from olives to pasta sauce to pasta, premade salad- amazing. You will not be disappointed!!

Their deli sandwiches are one of the best ones I've had in a really long time. Their bread is amazing! Their ingredients are also high quality, IMO. I've only had it to-go, hence I can't speak on their ambiance. I can also testify that their sandwiches tasted pretty good even after the second day! (I couldn't finish my sandwich and had it as a leftover). So delicious!

Their sandwiches were delicious!! We came in late after walking our dog at Rosie beach. Literally closed!!! The men working there says, we'll make you delicious sandwiches. It was beyond delicious!!! I wish I remembered their names. But the best customer service, sandwiches and allowed us to bring our pup in as they make our sandwiches. Go here!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Quality pastrami sandwich! But a sandwich, bag of chips, and small bottle of water for $23.00+ is excessive.

"2nd street" is the heart of Long Beach City coastal vibes, shopping, numerous restaurants, bars/night life. Expect (sometimes tight) and busy street parking. Buongiorno! Go here for your Italian goods, subs, pasta, cannolis, wines, etc., etc, oh my! Find this really cute Italian deli at one of the 2nd street corners. Once you walk in through the door you are transported to Italy. Really enjoyed the torpedo sandwich, deli meats were perfect, not overpowering, lightly dressed with oil and balsamic vinegar, pesto spread, on a baguette roll. I was too full to indulge in the other items, but saw many locals drop in and out to pick up their pasta orders. Definitely a local favorite . Looking forward to visiting again.

7/16/23 As my girlfriends & were strolling down 2nd Street, we passed by Angelo's Deli. I hardly ever get to see some of the businesses around Belmont Shore on 2nd St. because we usually walk around late at night. I scoped it out & looked around. They serve up Italian inspired sandwiches, noted olives & artichokes on the deli case, what looks to be freshly made pastas in the fridge, breads & other merchandise. It's a fairly small deli & it looks promising. I'm not much of a sandwich type of person but am willing to try it sometime. Having had delicious & filling Lebanese food just recently....maybe in the near future. Jackson, (if I got his name correctly) was welcoming & friendly which made this first impression impactful. I would definitely return because of this encounter. There is a community table & bench indoors & few chairs with bar type seating where you can enjoy your order. Parking, of course is on the streets-parking meters.

The food is always fresh, and served with a smile. The customer service is wonderful and helpful. The ambiance is quiant and clean. We always order the meatball sandwich, scrumptious and so good; heart and filling. The pasta salad is so fresh and worth it. We also order the Torpedo sandwich, filled with pesto, Italian deli meat and, lettuce, purple onions, tomatoes, and cheese; my favorite! Make sure to order the sweet imported blood orange Italian soda, which goes great with the sandwich. Don't forget to grab some Italian cookies to go! Enjoy!
